I am Godswill Moses Ikpotokin, the shining light from Africa. I was born in Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria. Ekpoma, located in the Edo Central Senatorial District, is predominantly inhabited by the Esan people (Ishans). Growing up, I was deeply immersed in the rich culture and values of my people. I spent part of my childhood with my grandparents, both paternal and maternal, which gave me a profound appreciation for the traditions and heritage of my community.
I attended school from primary to high school in various communities, including Iruekpen, Ekpoma, and Igueben. Despite facing economic challenges at the tertiary level, I remained steadfast in pursuing my dream of becoming a technologist and an advanced tech enthusiast. Driven by a vision to redirect humanity towards unity and brotherhood, I sought to leverage technology to build livelihoods for future generations and promote coexistence.
Today, I am proud to continue this journey. I am dedicated to rebuilding, portraying, and propelling Africa to preserve its values, culture, and wholesome traditions, safeguarding humanity.
As the founder of Applinet Technology, an African-centered technology company, I strive to merge modern technology with African culture and values to address the continent's unique challenges and contribute to the global preservation of quality humanity. Through Applinet Technology, we aim to develop solutions that resonate with Africa's identity while tackling pressing issues.
I am also championing CodeHouse Cloud, an initiative under Applinet Technology that empowers Africa's brightest minds to learn, collaborate, and innovate. CodeHouse Cloud fosters a vibrant community called Genius Cloud, where tech enthusiasts at all levels can improve their skills, collaborate, and find inspiration. Beyond community building, CodeHouse Cloud focuses on providing affordable cloud hosting services to underserved areas in Africa, developing AI-powered solutions to support Africa's diverse languages, and creating an integrated data structure for the continent, all in the African Intelligence (AI). Our mission is to ensure that technology serves as a bridge for inclusion, progress, and cultural preservation.
Motivating others is a passion of mine because I understand the struggles of starting and staying on the journey. I remain committed to inspiring and uplifting those around me, as we work together to build a better future for Africa and the world.
